The documents, obtained by Emma Best (@NatSecGeek), date back to 1977 and show US records on Soviet and East European parapsychology research, including "black magic" and devices "used to duplicate psychic effects." The CIA especially noted "major uncertainties" in the extent of such abilities.

Monday is Dyngus Day, a Polish and Polish-American holiday observed the day after Easter that celebrates the end of Lent. Typical Dyngus Day celebrations would involve large gatherings and parades, but this year people are celebrating at home.
