In order to get current date/time and perform remote logging we might want to consider porting this code to an Arduino Nano 33 IoT which has Wi-fi support.
The Arduino Nano 33 BLE is based on Mbed OS which provides the needed cryptographic functions, so we need to find out the best way to implement them on the SAMD core on which the 33 IoT is based.
