Expanding the cluster, demoting my 3B+ out and repurpose as a smart mirror. One of the 4GB 4’s is going into a Picade. Will leave 3x8GB and 2x4GB in a k3s cluster running my home assistant, dev wordpress, openfaas, inlets, PiHole and some Azure DevOps agents for deployment tests

And I also think that today, OSS solutions are almost at the same level of competitivity. For example if you choose a cloud that handle the reliability of a Kubernetes cluster for you, then you choose to deploy OpenFaas over it, then...

Great to see these clusters popping up. It takes ~15min to setup your own including useful software like the Kubernetes dashboard and getting a public IP through -

Not the answer you were hoping for? Well, perhaps there is a project you may like to contribute to? We shared some ideas in the community on how to start, and how to collaborate with OSS projects. Good luck on your journey.

Back to the question from . If you train as a runner or cyclist, you have to listen to your body. When your body says "no" as in - not recovered, or no motivation, then don't train. If you have no inspiration, no problems to solve, no itch, then don't create OSS.

Many people start OSS projects and as popularity rises, so does the burden, for what is essentially a completely unsustainable model. Once you have the hindsight and understand the personal cost, then creating projects becomes a much harder decision.

The dynamics of OSS are different from paid products. For a viable business find out: ✅ Are people willing to pay for this? ✅ Who are they and how much will they pay? ✅ How large is the market? ✅ Does that work for my financial goals?

No. I would say that they all started by solving a pain point, scratching an itch, or helping to automate an annoying problem.

Someone asked me if PRO can be used to access VNC over the Internet. Yes it can, and there's fun Docker image you can try it out with - that has a HTML viewer built-in.
