It would be nice if either he official docker-compose file or the documentation itself would include volumes for config persistency. The old structure mentioned #113 has changed some time ago.
Example:
volumes:
- /local/path/filestash/config/:/app/data/state/config/
- /local/path/filestash/db/:/app/data/state/db/
The doc mentions X as a key for toggling executable:
X: toggle executable
But this feature is not released yet in 2.1 (latest release). Maybe time to roll out 2.2? :)
I think documentation problems are as serious as coding problems.
lf(1) documentation only lists the options but do not describe most of them. It is up to the user to test by trial-and-error to find out what each option is about.
I think that adding short descriptions for the options and/or adding a section describing the options and the format of their respective values would easily fix
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I want to add a whole smb-server to the sidebar. Since the network address section isn't shown, I cannot view network addresses and therefore pin e.g. whole SMB-servers through right click to the sidebar. (e.g. such addresses: \\smb-server)
Describe the solution you'd like

I get this error while listing the files.
Line 18 in filenavigator.js
It is successful call with response code 200 but the type of data in response is a string instead of object (as expected).
String contains the content of AngularFileManagerServlet.java
My repo which I installed php from does not defaultly ship with json plugin, I must manually install it to make it works.
So if you can clarify not only json plugin but all plugins we must have, then newcomers would have less asspain.
Currently scrolling in directory with file preview enabled in 2nd pane could get extremely sluggish if the preview command isn't snappy enough; eg having following config to use bat for previews causes scrolling in a directory containing many shell scripts to become noticeably slow:

fileviewer * bat --color always --plain %c

Would be great to improve coverage of Cloud Commander.
To get current coverage all you need is:
git clone https://github.com/coderaiser/cloudcmd
cd cloudcmd
npm install
npm run coverageexplorer++ version : 1.3.5_x64 portable。
Windows : Windows 10 1903 Enterprise build 18362.657 64 bit。
I'm new user of explorer++ and have read documentation. I navigate to “Tools > Options" dialog, switch to "tabs" and check the box ”Open each folder in its own tab“, then click Apply and OK.
When I restart explorer++ and even Windows 10, it seems dose NOT work, explorer++ still creates a n
Defx screenshots
I think defx.nvim needs screenshot in README.
If you have good screenshots for defx.nvim README, can you add it in this issue?
It would be nice to have all the controls for the inbuilt image viewer. As of right now only share and delete is supported, which is pretty bare bones. Rename, Move and Copy should be added as well.

Indicate with an asterisk next to the header and a footnote saying "Required"
When/How would you use it?
Every time I create a ticket in SD Maid.
How would you implement it?
Indicate with an asterisk next to the header and a footnote saying "Required" so the user knows what's required input for the create issue ticket screen.

It would be nice not to have a dependancy on man and the rover man page for in application help.
For some users, it would be nice to have an option to add a confirmation dialog when deleting files.

Ranger may be implementing this already, in which case a link to the documentation place would be appreciated.
Given that ranger starts a "preview process", pass keys, or commands, from ranger to the preview process, mangling them if necessary, and update the preview.
the main use case would be scrolling the preview, eg control (or alt) + arrows would be passed as arrows to the preview proce
