According to the postgresql documentation on https://www.postgresql.org/docs/current/static/continuous-archiving.html section 25.3.3.1 you can pass 2 extra parameters to pg_start_backup().
I'm particularly interested in the second parameter which does a fast checkpoint.
Is this a feature which can be added as a command-line parameter to wal-e backup-push eg `wal-e backup-push --fast-chec

nested group support
Hi,

We use EBS Volume snapshots for our mongodb backup. It would be nice if this tool allows us to call AWS CLI to kick off ebs volume snapshots
Firstly thanks for the great package.
I like the way of simply accessing the latest backups, and download them or create manual ones.
I have setup laravel-backup for a project which generates hourly backups on s3.
Currently we have 200 backups on s3.
Locally with only a few backups the nova backup tool works and the backups were displayed.

Add POT file
Please add POT file in sources. It will help to sync with transifex.
If you will update POT file it will be uploaded at transifex automatically.
With Gnome NetworkManager one can set, wheter a connection is metered (other word for metered is "fee-based").
On a metered connection, smart programs will stop unimportant background activities such as system updates, backup jobs and so on.
It comes handy to set the property to yes in situations like a capped data plan or on a generally slow WiFi connection.

Hi, this looks great, but when I tried to use it I realised that I needed --copy-dirlinks in there too. And I imagine other people will want other features. So it struck me that a way to pass arbitrary options down to rsync would be nice.
Also, it would be good if the docs included some reference to your python-rotate-backups project - it wasn't until I read that that I understood what was ha
