we currently share the config file among client and server by mirroring it. This won't scale when more files need to shared and there would be lots of moving parts. Need to find a clean way to keep things simple.

I have formatted a recipe on Trello which I want to display on the MagicMirror. Trello supports Markdown Syntax for the Description section of Lists. See this.
In the 'Select version manually' section you suggest 'git tags' command to display versions. As far as I know it should be 'git tag'.
