Hi again,
a second issue I ran into is related to the userguide:
The example for Grouping on calculated columns regarding binning doesn't compile in v0.37.3 and apart from that doesn't lead to a reasonable result, as far as I see.

But as we are currently targeting JDK 8, and a new API arrived in JDK 9, it does not make sense to do this yet. The next long-term Java version 11 is scheduled for end of September 2018.
So for ELKI 0.8 it is an option to target JDK 11, and use the new API then.
The GUI currently includes social links to Twitter, LinkedIn etc. We should add our new Gitter channel to these links.

I am playing around with MALLET and TMT, I see a lot of optional settings with default values, but I have not found explanations for how these settings affect results, and what best practices are for choosing them. ElementwiseProduct expects a vector as its value within the paramMap. This is different from all other params where param had string values but it 'referred to' a Vector. This time we need a vector to be passed in as the param.
There is a demo for how to use the library on the README.md, as well as the wiki. The demo is manually maintained, at the moment, which is error prone during refactoring. Update the documentation generator to test the source in the example, before adding it to the documentation.

The Package() constructor with empty argument should take a template json file and fill in the jsonObject field instead of leave it empty. So user can fill in the value against the key from template instead of creating a blank instance user cannot use.
