    I wrote this talk in a few days, coming in and out of a deep depressive episode. It was followed by the hardest months of my life. I consider this talk one of the pinnacles of my work. I did not know when I gave it in August 2019 how relevant it might be today. Please watch it.

    Something that resonated with me personally: tech allows us to build hate at scale. The ‘hate’ here isn’t always the big and obvious stuff; it’s often times micro aggressive systems and behaviors that slowly inch BIPoC out of the convos where real change happens.

    The CEO of , is now blocking people speaking out about ICE. There is something really startling about this, that he would rather block someone and hide, than face the facts and acknowledge he is publicly supporting ICE.

    Front-end Help: Does anyone know if there's an issue with overriding fonts for HTML arrow styles (↗↘←)? I cannot get arrows to respect the font for my site. I have checked the glyph exists in the font, which I checks out at Google fonts.
