    It's out, folks! A little over two months ago I left Google and Flutter. This is MY LAST Flutter video, a with ...filmed in the "before time." Get it while it's hot! Gosh my hair was so much shorter then.

    Looking for house-bound entertainment these days (who isn't)? A comedy feature I filmed 4 years ago, Early Music, is up on Amazon. I have a minor but hilarious role throughout playing the truly odd daughter of a record store owner. I adored this character.

    <rant>I'm becoming increasingly aware of, and frustrated by, this language used by people in positions of power and/or privilege: “I don’t understand.” Usually said to, or in response to, someone in less power. Often to someone they have power over.

    I have also in the past (long pre-corona) played a D&D style campaign (Tekumel) over Hangouts (did you know there is a /roll command and you can make virtual maps that people move their pieces on?). It worked decently well.

    As one data point, we played Imaginiff ( ... a party game selected because you effectively don't need a board or really anything to look at) a few days ago and it was fine, but it wasn't quite what we were in the mood for. But it DOES work over video chat!

    👇👇👇 THIS! Don’t ask the woman next to you to educate you about these issues. Do research online and follow people from underrepresented groups. There are many good resources.

    A4: First, I say do your homework! Don’t expect underrepresented groups to be your first stop to get educated. While some may be willing to take on that emotional labor (and it IS labor), you shouldn’t assume it.
