Tech has to exclude people. Tech has the power to change the world, for better and worse. Allowing racists and other supports of state violence into the tech community is what gives us discriminatory AI, surveillance, and shit like Github's ICE contract. Silence is violence.

Like everyone else, we’ve been applying to get a dog. We’ve been denied like 5 times now and it’s so hard not to take each one personally. The latest hasn’t even replied yet, and so I know it probably means “no,” but there’s still that small voice saying, “but maybe!”
