Describe the bug
If the user composes a new message but then closes the message without adding any text, a blank draft is created. This is unwanted behavior because a blank draft does not provide any advantage over a new message.
To Reproduce
Compose a new message (either by clicking the COMPOSE button or pressing c) and then close the message without adding text.
Expected behavior
Closing a blank message should not create a draft (for example, Gmail does not create a draft until the user enters text in the new message).
