Developing a solution from scratch using 0x can be challenging and time-consuming. Protofire and the 0x team are working on a reference implementation called the 0x Launch Kit. The Kit includes a simple, extensible 0x relayer codebase that can be forked or used as reference material to create your own marketplace. [1]
The Launch Kit addresses many issues and simplifies integrating with 0x, reducing the effort needed to add decentralized token trading to your project. The solution serves as an out-of-the-box and fully functional working reference for any developer or organization willing to launch a relayer in under a minute. The Launch Kit also features a neat and tidy UI, ensuring unsurpassed user experience.

Opyn is a permissionless, decentralized insurance platform that enables users to protect their DeFi deposits from financial and technical risks and hedge against Ether downside, volatility, and flash crashes.
Project description
Protofire contributed to the development of Opyn’s main product—a decentralized insurance platform for risk management. The team worked out the platform’s architecture and implemented business logic. Now, the solution enables option sellers and buyers to earn premiums on collateral liquidation, as well as ensure security against technical, financial, and systemic risks in the DeFi platforms.
The smart contracts underlying the Opyn platform had to comply with the industry security standards. For this purpose, the team at Protofire developed and ran integration tests over the smart contracts. As a result, Opyn successfully underwent an audit by OpenZeppelin.

Aragon is creating a whole stack of decentralized technologies that power governance mechanisms underlying decentralized autonomous corporations or (DACs).
Project Description
Protofire is working on the development of the official Aragon DAO Payroll decentralized app (dApp). The Aragon application will allow users to incorporate new employees (integrated with the identity and finance apps), request and pre-authorize payments in different tokens, as well as view all the payroll information, including historic payments, balance, and statistics. The DAO members/employees can manage and expect their payments to arrive on time, error-free, and containing the expected tokens (multiple currencies).
Under the project, the team at Protofire also tackled issues to improve both user and dev experience, with a special focus on integrating user feedback to create and improve tools for building new types of organizations with the Aragon stack.

POA Network is an open Ethereum sidechain with the Proof-of-Authority consensus reached by independent validators. The POA team is building a public network for smart contracts, combining speed, security, and cost efficiency. Our team helped POA Network to develop a set of tools, which includes the Token Wizard, Proof of Physical Address, Proof of Bank Account, Token Bridge, Block Explorer, etc. We also contributed to enabling a single-click deployment of the network. TrustExplorer Real-Time Audit
Protofire built TrustExplorer Real-Time Audit — a blockchain-based assurance platform for financial accounting, audit, and reporting in real time. The solution allows users to dynamically pull data on a circulating supply of tokens, as well as aggregate a total balance of assets supporting the tokens.
TrustExplorer Trusted Node
Protofire developed TrustExplorer Trusted Node — a service to query data. Using this solution, the participants of the Hedera Hashgraph network can access transactional data. Meanwhile, financial statement auditors can acquire information related to balance sheet accounting of material assets stored in a blockchain.
TrustExplorer Proof of Reserves
Protofire delivered TrustExplorer Proof of Reserves — a tool that provides users of centralized exchanges with transparency and assurance over digital asset reserves held custodially on their behalf.

Gnosis is a decentralized and permissionless platform that caters to the creation of prediction market applications on Ethereum. Gnosis stands behind the DutchX product, a fully decentralized auction platform.
Through the Gnosis Ecosystem Fund, both Protofire and Gnosis worked collaboratively to further develop the DutchX ecosystem and increase platform adoption.
Project Description
Protofire contributed to the development of DutchX by creating FairDex, the first dApp of the trading platform. FairDex enables bidders to browse through upcoming, active, and completed auctions. In addition, bidders can monitor auction details and charts, as well as place bids.
This project proves the possibility of transforming complex protocols into usable applications.
By bidding through FairDex, traders always get a fair price for their tokens thanks to the Dutch auction mechanism. Even though auctions take several hours to complete, traders get immediate liquidity, while also reaping the benefits of a slow and decentralized auction.
With the creation of FairDex, the Protofire team provided the DutchX ecosystem with an open-source, robust, and easy-to-use web application, which places an emphasis on user experience.
FairDex has already become a key member of the DutchX family thanks to the ETH-DAI auctions campaign that Gnosis funded with $1.000.000.

Protofire developedLivepeer.tools —a solution that ensures visibility for Delegators (token holders) across Delegates (transcoders) they bond with. The system represents a dashboard that provides a variety of status notifications, user account summaries on a daily or weekly basis, as well as statistical calculations related to Delegates. This allows token holders to take full control over their investments, follow all the events in the Livepeer network to make smarter decisions when bonding with Delegates, etc.

The GoodDollar experiment is a series of tests with the ultimate purpose of reducing wealth inequality, using the blockchain technology. GoodDollar’s mission is to build a new, global, open-source cryptocurrency—called GoodDollar—to distribute money, using the principles of universal basic income (UBI).
Project Description
Protofire helped GoodDollar to create a crypto wallet that provides users with GoodDollar tokens daily if compared to any other digital token wallets. Users can access tokens without passing a test or fulfilling a work requirement, regardless of their income or employment status. Free and clear.
The wallet is based on the following principles:
- Low cognitive load in critical actions due to clear and minimal UI
- Providing timely information as required.
- User-centered design
As a first step, our team of DApps and UI/UX engineers implemented an end-to-end proof of concept with a basic wireframe-style design, allowing GoodDollar to test functionality flows and gather early feedback from the community members. Featuring face recognition, a fully redesigned and extended version was built on top, receiving and claiming G$ (GoodDollars) in a straightforward and user-friendly way, as well as delivering a frictionless blockchain experience.

It is the first decentralized margin lending protocol on the Ethereum mainnet. bZx is not itself an exchange, but a protocol that can be integrated into the current exchange infrastructure.
Project Description
Protofire is working closely with bZx development team on both back-end and front-end sides of the project. Our team is helping to develop the integration of Augur with bZx smart contracts that facilitate on-chain margin lending, as well as opening, monitoring, and liquidation of token trades.
Protofire introduced a widget for quick integration of margin trading backed by bZx into any website. We also contributed to code quality by increasing smart contracts test coverage and incorporating linting into the development process, as well as migrated the development process to monorepo. In addition, our team devoted a lot of efforts to the project's documentation.

Our team helped Etherisc to build the Flight Delay DApp, the first decentralized insurance application that automates the process of issuing policies and allows for getting instant payout in case of a flight delay or cancellation. Now, we are working on a decentralized insurance protocol that would simplify and enhance the development of insurance products.
