    The only reason some consider(ed) Scala to be a "Better Java" is because Java was fucking awful when Scala arrived. Today, Java is less awful, and the (much) better Java title belongs to Kotlin. Scala deserves to be used... like Scala! Not "better Java" and not "worse Haskell".
