It would be great if there's documentation on how TrebleShot sending works. I am interested in developing a desktop app for TrebleShot ? It would be great if there's docs on how sending, discovering and receiving works.

The documentation seems a bit incomplete. Looking through issues and commits, I see references to "bootstrap" mode and/or "bootstrap.properties", but don't see it mentioned anywhere in the documentation. Ditto for specifying both an appdir and an appbase. As far as I can tell, appdir is the argument to java -jar getdown.jar, required, and appbase is a required entry in getdown.txt,

This project and some sub-projects have automated tests. Please could you document which tests you recommend running and when, and how to check the test results for these sets of tests. I'd like to look deeper than Gradle simply saying BUILD SUCCESSFUL as it's not clear whether it actually ran the tests, nor how many were run, etc.
