Describe the bug
A record can have a source record position. If the record is produced by the stream processing then it points to the record that was processed. Otherwise, the source record position is less than 0. This allows the see the causality.
Currently, there are some records that have a source record position but that are not produced by processing the record.

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
To quickly select several elements within a diagram, I would like to use shift+click as a common way and very known from many other tools.
Besides the reason to enable this as expected behavior, there is currently no way to select multiple elements that are not exactly side by side (to be catched by the lasso tool).

In the modeler, when assigning an "Id" in the "General" tab, QName compliance is enforced.
If I try to input "2fa-sms", I get an error msg "Id must be a valid QName"
However, when I create a "Call Activity" element in a BPMN, I can assign a non QName value in

Describe the Bug
Creating typed start events is not allowed within a subprocess. However, they can still be copied and pasted onto a subprocess which shouldn't be allowed either.
The same issues occurs with non-interrupting events copied out of a event sub-proce
