    If you work in docs you should fill this out. The more data, the better opportunities to advocate if your pay is too low for industry standards. And we all know you’re not getting paid enough if you work in docs. 😩🤪

    Pedigree is a poor proxy for motivation and talent. New data: when you hire from a university that's 1,000 slots higher in the rankings, on average you only get 1.9% better performance. Prestigious schools don't have a monopoly on potential.

    Also, reminded me of a company I used to work for who made the women’s bathroom into an all gender bathroom, not ‘cause they were just that woke in the early 2000s... it was ‘cause they just didn’t have that many women working there and they needed more stalls for the men. 😬

    Ok, highly recommend this episode form 99%. It’s all about bathroom design, social stigmas with restrooms, and the actual laws that prevent us from doing it better. Never knew I didn’t know so much about public restrooms!

    When people ask why San Francisco struggles so much, and doesn’t make progress, this is as example as to why. One person preventing 880,000 people from having more safe, open space during a pandemic and supervisors who aren’t bothered by it.
