I started and then worked a lot on two popular open-source projects:

• PhantomJS , the world's first truly headless browser for automation
• Esprima , the world's first AST-based JavaScript tool

Both had made some impact to the progress of front-end web development.

Other open-source handiwork from my past:

• FastLZ, LZ77 compression used by Death Stranding, Traffic Server, Netty, etc.
• libwpd and libwpg, WordPerfect libraries used by LibreOffice, Inkscape, etc.

along with my past contributions to Qt framework, KDE, WebKit, and many others.

I also share everything I learn through my blog: ariya.io. I've been writing regularly for more than decade, primarily on the topic of engineering excellence, covering everything from continuous integration, craftsmanship, to technical leadership.
