Python 3.7 added str.isascii to the standard library, but pytype doesn't seem to know about it yet.
For example, checking the following code:
def main():
r
Input
# typed: true
module M
def self.private(foo); end
end
class A
def foo; end
M.private :foo
end
A.new.fooObserved output

Currently pgTyped CLI package is using minimist for CLI flag parsing. By design minimist is rather minimal and doesnt provide any advanced features.
To improve the current CLI experience we should switch to yargs.
Things we will get out of the box with yargs:
- Help command
- Env variable support
- Flag value validation
- Documented default values
