opensource

Open source is a term denoting that a product includes permission to use its source code, design documents, or content. It most commonly refers to the open source model, in which open source software or other products are released under an open source license as part of the open source-software movement. Use of the term originated with software, but has expanded beyond the software sector to cover other open content and forms of open collaboration.

The usual pattern for not-leader-but-not-allowed-to-die characters in mainline campaigns is to use macros such as CHARACTER_STATS_AIGLONDUR or NEED_DELFADOR in utils/characters.cfg. This means that they'll automatically be created if the player has a start-of-scenario save from an old version, or when using :choose_level.

Getting a server by its visible ID requires many requests.
if I want to get a specific server using the ID visible to the user (example: efcecec0) I will have to list all servers and then filter the list. but that requires a lot of requests depending on the number of pages you have.

This isn't something you've introduced, but you can effectively neutralise active epidemics, by starting an emergency here, as the UIWatch check is bypassed at this point. However patients will still be infected/contagious (can't vaccinate them as you fixed this previosuly) well after the natural end, as the 'interrupted' epidemic never finishes.
