~/.config/youtube-dlg should just contain configuration files and not logs (which should go to $XDG_DATA_HOME/youtube-dlg/ ) nor youtube-dl binary (which should go to $XDG_CACHE_HOME).

Please also consider using appdirs instead of hardcoding ~/.config/

Just what the title says ... I logged in to last.fm with no apparent issues. Nuclear appears to be scrobbling correctly.

Clicking the Import button for Last.fm Favorites gives: "Error: Invalid number of favorites [2664]"

The error message isn't HTML escaped, leading to messages like iv-org/invidious#1755.

1. The sidebar looks horrendous in compact mode. The text that is displayed next to the icons in large mode is just displayed smaller below the icons in compact mode. This reduces space for the icons which in turn leads to small icons with hardly readable text. This is especially bad in some languages like German
