my /var/log directory has files with different structures, which requires me to use different pipeline_stages for each set of different files.

something like this would exclude all files that match the pattern /host/var/log/contained.*.log:

On contexts with many APIs and APIs calling other APIs in chains, having too many spans in the zipkin/jaeger dashboards may lead to a too complex usage of such dashboards and of not necessary big data volumes.

The background is in #1786 .

We should allow revision created by outside system. So we should add a mechanism to check if the revision already exist.

The quick solution could be:

1. calculate the revision hash
2. list all revision related(label selector app name)
3. check if there's existing revision with same hash and compare the spec. If they are deep equal, don't generate.
