The data at data.syncthing.net is fun to look at, but it's not fully anonymous.

For example looking at the country usage breakdown shows 1 user in Yemen (and more countries). With some additional info the user can be de-anonymized. Same with the one person with 105TiB of data in their largest folder.

Background

Often Tor only nodes become unreachable while still online which causes long channel downtimes and being unable to fulfill Pool bids.

Since the URLs are just a gate pass for the video call, there might be a chance of getting intruders into the call with a simple brute force.

Users feel more secure if we have some passcode or approval from the creator to join into call.
