    What fantastic news. So long overdue.

    : Turkey's Court of Cassation just ordered the release of journalist and novelist Ahmet Altan from prison after nearly 4.5 years behind bars. Yesterday, ruled that Altan's pre-trial detention amounted to violation of his rights.
