Papermerge Ecosystem

Papermerge is open source document management system for scanned documents (PDF documents, JPEG, PNG, TIFF scans). Its source code is split into two major pieces backend and frontend. Papermerge Organization groups all papermerge related projects under one umbrella.

Following is the list of Papermerge ecosystem major projects:

  • Papermerge - Django project which bundles all pieces together. This repository is used as central tickets tracker.
  • Papermerge Core - Backend central piece. The heart of Papermerge. This is a python package (Django + Django REST API application).
  • Papermerge.JS - Frontend central piece (emberjs application)
  • Documentation - Sphinx based documentation repository.
  • Papermerge S3 Backend - Papermerge plugin (in other words, a Django app) for storing Papermerge documents on S3 object storage.
