ANSI codes to hide (\x1b[?25l) and show (\x1b[?25h) the cursor are not retained during the serialization. I understand that this concerns more the current state of the terminal, but since the cursor position is preserved, I find it natural to also save the cursor visibility.

If this is a wontfix, is there at least a reliable way to detect the cursor visibility? Other than the undocumente

Considering issues like #5954 are bad to solve / debug without this information, borg should debug log full paths of all caches / indexes it uses.

What would you like to be added

We can't query smallstep for anything related to certs because the only thing in the DB is the bytes of the cert. Storing the cert alongside more columns like the common name, not after date, and more, would let us enable more complex queries, and optimize performance for future use cases.
