    Couple thoughts. As soon as I saw the collective dark blue in the west, I knew it was California. I’m from NoVa. I assure you Northern Virginians don’t hate W. Virginia. We hate Maryland (drivers). We barely remember W. Virginia exists. Florida is self-loathing. This tracks.

    I don’t remember this but my father likes to tell a story about an elementary school teacher grading me poorly on an assignment. In response, I went and argued I deserved a higher grade. I succeeded.

    What’s a story that encapsulates who you were as a young person? When I was 14, I decided to run for class president. The first line of my campaign speech was: “As you all know, I am a genius.” I received exactly one vote, my own.

    I listen to old TV shows while working the way most people listen to music. And one of my favorite things is seeing known actors in obscure guest roles. Anyway, Anakin Skywalker was in the first season of The Pretender. Spoiler alert: still whiny and annoying.

    Fucking brilliantly cooked chateaubriand filet and salt encased baked potato and asparagus and grilled mushrooms with a dash of soy sauce cause it brings out dat flavor. HOT DAMN.

    Girls dance supplies is a full on racket. The more obscure the dance, the more ridiculous it becomes. America seems to think that tap shoes qualify as folklorico shoes AND THEY DO NOT.
