What is dair.ai

dair.ai is a community effort to democratize Artificial Intelligence (AI) research, education, and technologies.

I lead this incredible community of developers and educators that are helping to research and educate others on the most important AI advancements, research, and technologies. We work on newsletters translated to different languages, educational content (e.g., blog posts, research summaries, scientific notebooks, etc.), and much more.

Our vision is to create a hub of developers and educators where diversity and transparency are first-class citizens. The content maintained in our dair.ai GitHub organization will remain free and open forever.

Why GitHub sponsors

One of the objectives of dair.ai is to create the best free high-quality educational content related to AI research and technologies. I have been working on this initiative for a couple of years and it is one of the projects that I am most proud of. I maintain all content with help from other wonderful folks, mostly done in my spare time and on weekends. I also manage the community and review all content submitted to the initiative. This initiative has benefitted thousands of students and practitioners around the world and it has inspired many to pursue different career paths in AI.

Besides the current projects which we maintain, there are other objectives to scale up the creation and accessibility of educational content. I have realized that to do this, we are going to incur costs which at the moment are a constraint in our efforts and broader vision.

I enjoy doing what I do and I know our active contributors do too. I know this initiative helps others so this is the reason why I decided to keep everything free and open to everyone.
