Many static type checkers have issues finding Cython's stubs.
Here is from running mypy on my current project:

The same issue can be seen when using import Cython as cython:

I am working on creating a WandbCallback for Weights and Biases. I am glad that CatBoost has a callback system in place but it would be great if we can extend the interface.

The current callback only supports after_iteration that takes info. Taking inspiration from XGBoost callback system it would be great if we can have before iteration that takes info, before_training, and `after

Remove the initial shortcut sync code in viewer/db.js for v3.1. Note that to upgrade to v3.1+ you must upgrade to v3.0 first.

The current test TestCassandraConnectorTest has some issues:

• Unrelated types in a table
• The definition and data are managed in the different class
• Less coverage in a type

It would be nice to introduce type mapping tests.

Avoid controlling endless loop with exception in loadAnonymousClasses, e.g. by extracting loading class to the method:

DescribeDeltaDetailsCommand doesn't call DeltaLog.update after DeltaLog.forTable: https://github.com/delta-io/delta/blob/1fcb1dacc8d4ec671cd499676bb61d55d343cc2a/core/src/main/scala/org/apache/spark/sql/delta/commands/DescribeDeltaDetailsCommand.scala#L79

Hence it may return a stale result if DeltaLog.forTable returns a cached DeltaLog.

Vespa documentation is generated using Jekyll from .md and .html files, look into options for generating the artifact as part of site generation (there might be plugins we can use here)

Use case:
Add the ability to search for an element in an array and retrieve back the array index.
As per the PostgreSQL documentation:

array_position ( anycompatiblearray, anycompatible [, integer ] ) → integer

Returns the subscript of the first occurrence of the second argument in the array, or NULL if it's not present
