  8. I just found & it's so helpful! Language is constantly evolving & it can sometimes be hard to keep up. Or sometimes our gut tells us a common phrase might be problematic but we're not exactly sure why. This is a great resource!

    We often say "first world problems!" to show we recognise something we're complaining about is pretty silly in the grand scheme of the world's problems But do you know the origins of "first world"? (tl;dr: "Privileged problems" often works just as well.)

    ➕ Mx. gender-neutral honorific or title of courtesy, equivalent to Ma'am, Madam, Miss, Mr, Mrs, Mrs, Sir. Gendered titles can often misgender people. Mx. can be a great option to include, but as with pronouns, confirm/get consent to use. Read more:

    Earlier this year, I worked on a definition of antisemitism for . It's a nuanced subject -- it was important to me to be inclusive of all Jews as well as separating it from other types of oppression (particularly in the U.S.).
