I cant seem to get the external command, ancillary manipulator command or main porcelain command to display only a few lines

Using vanilla JS, I noticed that "onUpdate" is being called on any event on the page, not only when the results list is updated, as the documentation states.

Even if clicking around the page, no relation to the autocomplete, the "onUpdate" is called.

I suggest to add an option so when the input is multiple, we can choose a maximum number of items to select.

Would be great to have tests in place. Especially for virtual list, where Svelecte relies on svelte's internals and can potentially break in the future. Help is appreciated.
