Unknown remote protocol?

I'm trying to run pproxy, but it's giving me "Unknown remote protocol" for some reason.
Here's both the command I used and the logs pproxy prints:

And this is the command I used from another server at my home, using curl:

-"my remote server" is the server am running the pproxy from;
-"my home" is the server at my home
-"random socks4 proxy" is a proxy I've found on internet from a free socks list (that was working when I started pproxy)

Am I doing something wrong?

Operating system on both is ubuntu 14.04, python is on 3.7.9, curl is 7.58.0

Possible issue: pproxy socks4 not compatible with the remote socks4 server.
You can run a simple test as follows:

$ pproxy -r socks4://remote:port --test http://google.com
