I work with a 22 year old that learned to code. I was 30 when I started to learn to code. My friend was 49 when he made the transition to tech. I worked with a PHENOMENAL woman who was 60 when she got her job as a frontend developer! You absolutely got this!

Just saw a TikTok, person was telling someone to go ahead and drop the medical field to work in tech and cited that "Look at this engineer at PayPal, they only work 10 hours per week!" That is NOT the average work hours of someone working in tech. Don't fall for stuff like that.

Hey did you know that if you skipped Starbucks & eating out every day, that you would just have less caffeine, be hungry and still be broke? No amount of "cutting back" and "saving" can negate the fact that not having a higher income will still leave you broke.

"How do you solve problems? Do you just jump straight into the code?" Coding is the LAST thing I do, never the first. I figure out the logic & solution first. Code is a way to show the solution, it isn't the problem solving part. That happens before you write the first div.

My wife has a degree and on occasion she will get letters asking her for a donation from her school. Who pays $100k for a degree and is like "Let me throw more money at them. That wasn't enough. I need to give them more!" I want to reach THAT level of rich lol
