Summary

We can add a Carousel slider in the work experience and Achievement & certificate section so that more experience and certificates can be added without just increasing the length of the portfolio. I found that if we add more achievements, the cards are increasing on the same page instead of the slider can do better for adding more than cards.

Add a .env to the project and add GITHUB_TOKEN and GITHUB_USERNAME variables in it.

Then use these environment variables in git_data_fetcher.mjs

Also add .env to .gitignore

Reason For Update

Many users have mentioned that by having a .env they can push the whole project as it is onto GitHub otherwise they have to remove the token and add the token repeatedly. Thus raising this

I was hoping to create a navbar as done on my fork of the project but which is larger making it more accessible.

Something like the image below, but with better demarcations and accessibility. We aren't using any icon pack and the one on the image was made using a raw SVG path. Maybe we can just have a button instead of the "hamburger+menu".

Feedback from Ahmad Shadeed. I think it's worth making the changes for things that he pointed out.

  • The button text color "Get in touch" is not clear for me, I think it has to be pure white
  • The github link next to "View site" needs a revisit. A screen reader will read it as "Github", which is not clear.
  • The alt attribute should be more clear
