Hi! My name is Melissa, my pronouns are she/her or they/them, and I'm a Computer Science and Engineering student from Santiago, Chile. I'm fluent in Spanish and English, and I'm also able to read Portuguese and CatalοΏ½?.
Currently working as an Associate Software Engineer at Evernote. I'm also part of Universidad Mayor's Quantum Computing research group. In the past, I've worked as a Data Engineering and Data Science Intern at Walmart Chile, and also worked on High Performance Computing for Quantum Physics at the Herrera Lab.
I'm passionate about quantum computing, cloud (native) computing, data science, machine learning and data engineering. Right now, I'm trying to improve at container orchestration, infrastructure as code, parallel computing and microservices.
