Hello, I'm @rob-gordon
Tone Row connects my projects and collaborations. I'm a web developer and creative technologist interested in advancing the web by building innovative open-source tools. The things I build generally focus on productivity tools, design systems, graphing, and augmented-creativity.
Recent Projects Include
- Flowchart Fun – A really easy-to-use diagramming tool
- Graph Selector Syntax – A DSL for describing graphs and data
- L'art du dégradé – An expressive CSS Gradient Generator
My Meta Quest
I don't believe technology can be separated from the politics and policies it reinforces. For that reason I feel an imperative to build things which empower nonprofits, community organizations, and anyone working to make the world a more resilient and equitable place.
My meta quest is to take the time and support that my open-source work affords me, and build apps for orgs and individuals making a social impact. I finished the first of these apps in 2021. Check it out!
The Future
I have several projects in the works that I believe the web dev community will be excited about, I'm continuing to maintain and add features to Flowchart Fun, and I'm wrapping on work on my second nonprofit collaboration: an app that helps with bulk sourcing of locally-grown food in the Appalachia.
Thank you for considering supporting my work!
