Eric Hippeau joins Guy Kawasaki on Paper.li Advisory Board

Eric Hippeau (@erichippeau)
It gives us tremendous pleasure to announce the second addition to our advisory board, Eric Hippeau!

Eric's reputation in the digital media and publishing world needs no introduction… former Managing Partner at Softbank, an early stage investment VC for technology and media start-ups, CEO of Ziff-Davis and most recently, the CEO of the Huffington Post. Eric is attributed with the knack for recognizing potential early on in a company and then leading them to success. Eric is currently partner at Lerer Ventures.

Eric joins Guy Kawasaki on the board and we are looking forward to their guidance , perspective and wisdom as Paper.li continues to grow and evolve its services in the curation space.

In joining the paper.li Advisory Board, Eric Stated " In a world awash with information, well-curated content is increasingly important and I'm excited to advance the industry through working with the Paper.li team. Paper.li opens up a whole new way for people to consume information and engage in news that matters."

We see this as a significant step in taking Paper.li to the next level in social publishing and further shaping the role of individuals as curators or "Editor-in-Chiefs" of their own news sites.

Paper.li at BlogWorld Expo New York

Since our launch a year ago, Paper.li has grown from a service of just a few users turning their Twitter timelines into daily newspapers, to one that analyzes over 12million links a day in 8 languages for publishers and viewers world-wide.

A large, and growing portion of that content comes from bloggers around the world. So in our quest to get to know our community better ( and in person ) we are headed to the BlogWorld Expo, at the Javits Convention Center in NYC, May 24 - 26.

For those of you who are not familiar with BlogWorld, it's the largest new media conference world-wide that brings together social media thought leaders, bloggers, entrepreneurs, podcasters and content creators all under one roof. 3 days of workshops and panels take place where bloggers and new media peers and professionals get together to learn, share and exchange ideas.

We are proud to be a Bronze sponsor again this year and look forward to meeting, and seeing our community and industry peers there.

If you are attending the conference, stop by and see us at Booth 510. You can check out what is happening on the BlogWorld Daily Daily throughout the expo and you can stay up current on the BlogWorld blog.

For those who have not yet purchased passes, use the below codes and register on line for discounts on your conference passes.

PAPERLI20 : 20 % off Conference Pass

PAPERLI50 : 50 % Exhibits Only Pass

See you in New York!
