Thanks for stopping by the Microsoft Dynamics Community, where you can interact with your peers and Microsoft Dynamics experts. You can get answers to your questions by posting questions in the forums, reading informative blog articles, and watching how-to videos.  This getting started guide will help you quickly get up-to-speed on how to find answers, ask questions, and share your expertise.

Join and sign in with your Microsoft Account

You can explore the community and search for solutions without joining.  But if you want to post a question/comment or receive email notifications, you'll need to sign up.

  1. Click "Sign in" at the top of any Microsoft Dynamics Community page.
  2. Sign in with a Microsoft Account page.  If you already have an Outlook.com account, a Hotmail account, a Messenger account, or an Xbox account, you already have a Microsoft account -- Just sign in with your account name and password.
  3. If you do not already have a Microsoft Account, click "Sign up now" and follow the instructions.
  4. On the "Join the Microsoft Dynamics Community" page, create a screen name, enter a private email address (which won't be shared), and select any communities you wish to join.
  5. Specify if you would like to receive emails from Microsoft Dynamics and the click Join.  You are now a member of the Microsoft Dynamics Community!

Tip: If you've accidentally created more than one community account, learn more about how you can request your accounts to be merged.

Search the community

If you've come to the community with an issue, search first.  There's a good chance that someone has already asked a forum question, written a blog article, or published a how-to video on the topic you're interested in.  In the search box in the upper-right of the side, type your question, keyword, or topic.

Ask a new question

If you searched and did not find an answer to your question, post your own question.  Keep in mind that some questions are more complex than others and may take longer to receive a reply.

Promote good content

We'll send you an email notification when a member replies to your post.  If you asked a question and the reply solves your problem, open the thread and mark the response as a verified answer.  Learn more about Suggested and Verified Answers.

  1. Click the thread link in the notification email or find the thread in your profile.
  2. Click the "Verify Answer" link.

As you read other content, make sure to rate and like good content to let the authors know you appreciate their time.

Help others

Give back to the community by sharing your knowledge and answering other member's posts.

Keep the community friendly

We enjoy being in the community and we hope you do too.  When you're posting, be nice and have fun.  If you see any posts that violate the Code of Conduct or Terms of Use, let us know by reporting it as abuse.  Learn more about reporting abuse.

Dear Microsoft community team,

I've used the follow button on other members pages, but I am not sure what that does?

Where can I see who I am following and their updates?
