Unix & Linux Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for users of Linux, FreeBSD and other Un*x-like operating systems. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I am brand new to the Unix/Linux world and have a very rudimentary question for you. I am working on writing a shell script and towards the end we are told to "copy your source code for your script and the 2 output file created onto your windows (or MAC) machine." I'm not really sure what the "source code" is for my script. How should I go about completing this task? Thanx!

I believe they might have just mentioned the body of the script which is technically the source code. –  rahul Feb 12 at 8:44

I believe you are right. Haha, how did I not come to that conclusion. Thank you. –  Wesley Jordt Feb 12 at 8:48
