    This is one reason why I haven't installed significant smart home tech in my house. Devices must be: 1. secure 2. open 3. locally controlled Silicon valley hates this as they can't 'capture the user' behind a proprietary moat. Fortunately projects like exist

    The fun thing about this watch barchart is that it’s actually not graphical. It takes the iOS app’s ability to create Apple Watch text complications and uses unicode block text characters like ▂, ▄ and ▇ to make a ‘chart’.
