    Campaigners have dumped 625kg of plastic on the PM’s doorstep to stop the UK exporting its plastic waste to be burned or sit in landfill in other countries. The plastic left is equivalent to the amount the UK exports every 30 seconds, said.

  11. We are saddened to hear that the Turkish government has so quickly overturned the ban on plastic imports, bowing to pressure from industry. We will be watching to check if the new regulation protects people, wildlife and our oceans. 7/7
