As per #228 the interactive mode did not work properly for Windows. It rendered Windows unusable, whether the feature was turned on or not.

Describe the solution you'd like
The interactive mode helps people an assisted way to enter contents to ignore through an interactive shell.
This needs to be exactly same for Windows,

Need to come up with a better way to get a rebase commit log than what we do now:

For the time being as a workaround, you can skip installing the post-rewrite hook altogether -- the use case for this is pretty niche, in most people's workflows they'll end up pulling the commits to a local branch before rebasing on top of their
