A Sincere Thank You to Our Customers

Having just returned from Capacity Europe 2013, it’s difficult to see the event as anything less than a great success. One of the high points for Colt was our award for Best Pan-European Wholesale Carrier 2013. This award was not only a great honour but also significant recognition by our industry of the emphasis we put on both introducing innovative services into the market and the world-class delivery of those services. I have to thank our customers for this award as it is they who have believed in our vision, passion and commitment to excellence.

Capacity Europe is an important opportunity for us to meet a range of our leading customers and suppliers at one of the pivotal meeting points for our industry. It started 13 years ago and since then has grown to 1200 attendees. This level of interest, allows businesses like ours to engage across a wide spectrum of operators from across the globe as well as contribute towards the hot issues of the day.

There was one message that we wanted to deliver to our customers and partners during Capacity: Colt is the access provider for Europe. We know our customers find it difficult to deal with multiple carriers in different regions with all that entails. We take pride in how we make their lives much easier by being their single Pan-European operator no matter the complexity of the service requirement from their own customers. This message really seems to have hit the mark.

It’s been a good few weeks all for Colt! Not only were we recognised at in Amsterdam for our outstanding contribution but we have also been acknowledged by the Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF) for the ninth year running. Colt was honoured in the categories of ‘Best Carrier Ethernet Business Application – in a Specific Vertical Market’, ‘Best Wholesale Ethernet service’ and ‘Service Provider of the Year 2013.’

I take enormous pride in working alongside the Colt team that works day in and day out to ensure that our customers receive a seamless service across Europe and beyond. And I pay tribute to our customers for their belief in us. A sincerely felt thank you!
